Tito's Mexican Grill - Pittsfield

This restaurant used to be our favorite in the area when it first opened, but since the pandemic, we have mostly been ordering takeout. It seems like they may have changed owners or management because the food has become very disappointing. We don't even bother to check our takeout orders before leaving because we want it to stay hot and it can be messy to open it up. Unfortunately, the last few meals we ordered were not what we expected. The rice is bland and lacks any spices to make it special, and the other dishes are also lacking in flavor. It feels like they are using canned ingredients with minimal effort. It seems like they have lost their passion for cooking and the meals taste the same every time. I have eaten at many Mexican restaurants during my travels for work and I always look forward to a delicious meal, but sadly this restaurant has fallen into the trap of not putting in any effort to make their food stand out. The serving sizes on the takeout dishes are also disappointing. When I crave Mexican food, I want a hearty meal, but the portions from this restaurant have been lacking. Overall, the meals are bland and lack passion, and the lack of effort put into them is noticeable.

I have had some excellent meals here! The drinks are delicious! However, my last meal was not as impressive. There was a mix-up with my order (even the waitress was confused). Nevertheless, all the staff members are really wonderful. It wouldn't be fair to give them a low rating based on one experience. Many blessings to the restaurant!

Loved this Mexican place over our maiden visit for lunch in a Sunday. Huge interior. Our grotto was seated in an elaborately prepared group ?high table?. All wood and glass interiors wherever you look. Great margaritas. Crisp and warm nachos, with afresh and mildly spicy salsa. Loved the parrilada fajita. Equally good were the seafood fajitas and Mexican quesadillas.

The food at this restaurant was fantastic. It was really flavorful and they offer lunch specials with plenty of vegetarian options. They also have a wide variety of drinks and desserts. This is a great place for either lunch or dinner. Additionally, they have an authentic guacamole stand where they make the guacamole in front of you.

Would not recommend. The service and food were terrible. We were seated near sick coughing children and our server took 30 mins to come take our order. We had to keep tracking down people to help us as well. The chips we recieved were stale, my food wasbland and the best thing was the kids cheese quesadillas. They messed up the order and made one meal so spicy it could not beeaten. Only positive was that the drinks were good and strong.
