Eat On North The Backlot - Pittsfield

For covid outdoor eating the space is spacious and service totally fine. This particular food truck was not that great (although the people who worked there are incredibly kind and friendly).

The highly rated restaurant that was advertised was closed, so we ended up at a food truck that served hamburgers, hotdogs, jerk chicken, and fries. We decided to just order the fries, which were delivered quickly but were only mediocre in quality. Unfortunately, we weren't informed about the change in dining options at Hotel North, which left us disappointed. If we had known in advance, we would have made different plans and not been as critical of the situation.

I would appreciate knowing what food options are available before making a reservation! Could we possibly receive fewer confirmation emails/texts? It turned out there was hardly anyone there on Saturday evening at 7pm.

This restaurant is a fantastic choice for a relaxed outdoor meal under a tent with excellent natural airflow. They offer a wide range of cocktails and local draft beers. The Biggins Diggins food truck serves up delicious BBQ dishes and fantastic Lobster Rolls at reasonable prices.

This was such a disappointing experience We drove over 30mn to go to this restaurant for my husband’s birthday. Service took forever . Finally the drinks came. We ordered a crab cake to share as an appetizer My husband ordered the meat loaf and I the risotto. The crab cake was raw inside. After a long while the meatloaf finally came with a mushroom and cheese fondue! Not thé risotto! I spent the dinner looking at my husband eating as they were preparing the risotto. I ordered another glass of wine which never came. The waitress was nice and apologetic. Finally the risotto came
