Frappucino was excellent, but took a while to get it. Had more people (I counted 5) socializing in drink making area than working. Very focused on their conversations, so I had to wait a very long time in the drive thru, at the window, to get my drink. Finally a manager asked what I was waiting for, then it was made and I drove off. Otherwise, as expected for Starbucks- consistent taste, quality, and quantity.
I totally understand being short staffed or not being able to open the inside. I work at a restaurant myself. But yinz could at least do the curiosity of shutting off in-store orders.. this is my 3rd time in a week planning my in-store pick up, and get there to wait in drive thru for 30 minutes.. 7 other Starbucks around. I gladly would go to those if I know this was the case… the sign is never consistent and on the door at different times everyday.. even more upsetting my drink never taste correct here..and is always missing at least 1 of my kind of customizations, that cost extra. It breaks my heart to leave 1 star.
I walked up to the counter to place an order but no one behind the counter looked up at me. There were at least 6 employees talking to one another. I looked at them all for over one minute —waiting. And then I walked out. After a bit of time I went back in to let them know what I thought. The one employee was very apologetic and said it was a shift change and they were working things out. She offered me a drink and another apology so that was good.
It’s a Starbucks but the location is hard to access in traffic.
