Pops Son Pizzeria - Pittsburgh

Totally decent local pizza! I really appreciate that they are one of the few restaurants in Brighton Heights! I wouldn’t hesitate to order from here again.

The prior owners would deliver to my address, and the new ones refuse to deliver to me. Employees can be very rude at times

I had an XL 2 topping pizza for under $20, which is good deal to me these days. The dough is rather floppy so you gotta keep the cheese and toppings from sliding off but overall a good pie and I'll be ordering again. Happy to have Pops Son in the neighborhood.

I ordered from GrubHub to try because we like the bakery part. We got a Sicilian with extra cheese and mozzarella sticks. First off, the driver texted me and said that they didn't get my order and was waiting for 40 minutes. Then it finally arrived but everything was cold, the pizza had a funny cardboard taste. We had to toss it.

Gave this place a shot cause it looked good in other Google reviews photos. It arrived and looked very good. However, it smelled and tasted like they greased the pizza pan (or the dough itself) with week-old deep fryer grease. Killed it for me. It was so wretched I ended up eating only the toppings cheese (which were great as was the sauce) and pitched the entire crust of an entire 16 cut Sicilian and large regular pie (a $40+ order). Couldn't even eat the crust it was so bad. Don't know if it was just a bad night (ordered around 7:30pm and they didn't close til 10 or 11 that night) or what. I kind of want to give them a second chance someday because I liked the sauce, cheese toppings but I don't know. I just don't know.
