Corner Mercantile - Pittsburgh

This is a fantastic restaurant in downtown Pittsburgh, conveniently located next to the Point Park campus. They even offer a discount if you show your Point Park ID! The food is incredibly fresh and delicious, and I especially appreciate the vegan options available. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend it!

I wanted to check this place for a while. Portions are huge, the prices are fair, and the food is really good. This is a great lunch place. When someone with a nut allergy I was super impressed how allergy friendly the menu was. Some places give me snoring when I ask for things like Pesto. All in all great place.

If you are working and busy in downtown, Corner Mercantile is the place for a quick bite or pickup. They have a wide range of finished salads and soups. A revolving menu of finished hot/cold sandwiches and prepare dishes. I like this place because it serves its purpose. I can be in less than 2mn and on my day.

Love this place. The sandwiches are great, and it's a fast option. They use real sliced meats and sustainable ingredients. I didn't love the banana bread because it was too sweet for me but that's personal preference. The seafood chowder is good. The ribeye sandwich and Bloomfielder are amazing. Service is friendly, and the prices really are reasonable for downtown.

Corner Mercantile is a unique lunch destination in downtown, offering a wide range of options. Alongside their pre-packaged salads and protein snack packs, they feature a refrigerated display case stocked with sandwiches, entrees, and sides, allowing customers to create and heat their own meals. The selection of healthy snacks, including Luna bars and Sun Chips, adds to the variety. Additionally, there's a coffee and espresso station that serves excellent brews. During my visit in the late morning, the café exuded a relaxed vibe, with comfortable wooden tables and chairs and enjoyable background music. Although they don’t offer Wi-Fi, I look forward to returning.
