Angela's Cafe - Pittsburgh

As a former bartender, I was truly disappointed by the behavior of the bartender during my visit on a Friday night. I consider myself to be a nice and forgiving person, but right from the beginning, the bartender was unnecessarily rude when my friends and I came in for karaoke and a fun evening. He rolled his eyes as we approached the counter, likely judging us for being young women in our twenties. When we placed our orders, he was snarky and did not close my tab when I requested it. Instead, he left it open and became irritated when I asked him again to close it. It felt like a big hassle for him, even though the bar wasn’t busy at all. His attitude was dismissive, and he slammed our drinks down on the counter. I just wanted to enjoy a night out after the Pirates game with my friends, but he completely spoiled my mood. Coming from a background in food service, I couldn't believe how we were treated. It was even more surprising to see him act friendly toward other patrons at the bar. One of my friends is a regular there, and he was on the receiving end of this rude behavior as well. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back anytime soon, and neither will my friends.

The restaurant is not very welcoming to immigrants. I've visited a few times, but on my latest visit, I felt like I was treated differently. Because I didn’t have my passport with me, they wouldn’t allow me to order a beer. In my opinion, this place is pretty disappointing.

I was recommended this restaurant by the receptionist at the hospital, and it was a fantastic suggestion. The food was excellent!

This place was an amazing experience. The food was the best I've had in a long time. I would like to make a shout out to Amanda, our waiter. She was very nice and tolerant. And the wait was under 5 minutes. Their food sure is FAST food! The pricing was great. No doubt about it cheapest in the area. It was great.

For the size it’s truly the best kitchen in pittsburgh. Best turkey burger make sure you go five fire alarm on that bad boy
