Ekbergs Konditori - Piteaa

Reminded me of Lyons' Corner Houses in 1960s London. Good place for quick lunch. I fully recommend the blackberry gateaux.

Maybe i should have offered 5 stars. The place in general is good and nice and relaxed. Didn't eat and everything come out of the kitchen with plastic on it (is that a law? , but the coffee and tea and atmosphere are very nice. Pastries look good as well. I just wanted a croissant and they don't make those so i passed. Very nice place, check it out :

Is here during festival week Pite dances and smiles ordered a shrimp sandwich, latte, coke, pepsi and a mazarin. The shrimp sandwich tasted ok and was relatively cheap for being just a shrimp sandwich costing SEK 95. However, the arrangement of the sandwich was wrong so it fell apart while eating it. However, it was fresh The Pepsi was in a 33 cl bottle and cost SEK 30, which is far too expensive The latte was good but not decorative and with the price SEK 50, it doesn 't feel so affordable The mazarine was good and very fresh Boring cafe environment makes it feel expensive and the total cost for the family was SEK 457 for half an hour of coffee

The Pastries at this place is amazing, everything is home made! Very high quality of all the pastries and bread. If this where in a large city the prices would probably be a lot higher.
