Truly, it is not a 5-star restaurant But in my opinion, what the locals would eat, what I wanted, you see how they had their farewell. I thought the food was particularly good for the price. I had no problems with it at all and I enjoyed it
Lunch here after visiting Chichen Itza. After three weeks in Mezico, this was by far the meat and the worst service experienced. Hardly anything was present and the tacos they offer were really bad. Usually street vendors sell the best simple foods, but this offers food after the place uninspired, old and without much care.
Tacos were not good at all! Cochinita pibil was dry, tortilla was too thick and tasteless. Bad service by the big guy who always looks angry. Make yourself a favor and go next to Fabiola.
A lovely breakfast! I had salbutes, and my partner had the eggs with ham. Note that the coffee was the ever present Nescafe. Do not be alarmed when servers race to your car waving menus- this is standard here. There are three restaurants here, and...they are in competition. You want the middle one. The restaurant's location gives you a view of the town's AM commute- watching families of four commuting by motorcycle was its own kind of cultural appreciation! Seamless service, delightful waitresses, and tasty food. We will be back.
The food is very solid. The tacos were excellent and the prices were low. If they added a little atmosphere and made the place stand out just a bit more, it would push them to another level. As it stands, there are really no places...to eat that seem exciting near Chichanitza, so this is a good choice. The food is fresh, the workers very nice. But they need to get rid of the annoying kids selling stuff almost ruining your lunch. That would help a lot.
