Buff's Grill - Pilot Point

I recently moved to Pilot Point and was looking forward to some comforting home-cooked meals. I decided to try the Thursday special, which was meatloaf, and I was really disappointed. It lacked flavor and tasted like just plain ground beef with ketchup on top—definitely no real filling in the meatloaf at all! On a positive note, the fried mushrooms were excellent, and the sweet tea was enjoyable as well. I'm hopeful that the new management will work on improving the food quality here.

The restaurant hasn't been the same since the new owner took over. He just shouts at the employees and spends most of his time in his office, rather than assisting them when there are only one or two staff members handling everything.

We have visited this restaurant twice now and have been charged for items we didn’t order. There were also mix-ups with checks between tables. We used to love this place, but our recent experiences have been disappointing. We received poor service, cold food, and yet again, we got an incorrect bill. It feels as though we’re being taken advantage of. We never encountered these issues under the previous ownership. The owner didn't appear to take our feedback seriously. I really wish this wasn’t the review I had to write.

Have recommended this place hundreds of times. Always great food and service.
