As always, the food was fantastic. I highly recommend trying the fried pickles as an appetizer; I order fried pickles wherever I visit, and these are the best I've ever had.

After a chilly day at Dollywood, we were eager for some comforting warm food. We chose J T Hannah's because we had visited a few years back and had a pleasant experience.

Our steaks were cooked to perfection, and the buffalo chips appetizer was absolutely delicious. I ordered a side of steamed broccoli for $3.99, but I was surprised to receive only four florets—so that's quite expensive at $1 per floret! When we mentioned this to our lovely waitress, she promptly brought us another serving. She was juggling the roles of both bartender and server for five tables, yet she managed to provide excellent service. Fortunately, the high-tops near the bar were unavailable for dining. While her service was commendable, the restaurant should consider ensuring that its staff is not overwhelmed and is adequately supported. I didn’t catch her name, but she did an outstanding job serving everyone despite the challenging circumstances (visited on December 1 during the dinner shift).

This place is fantastic! The food is excellent, and the atmosphere is delightful. Our waiter was the best we've ever encountered. I highly recommend the loaded tater tots and the fried catfish with onion rings; the tartar sauce is an amazing blend of sweet and tangy. We also tried the Chocolate Addiction dessert, and it was absolutely heavenly!
