If you are after a meal that tellas you all you need to know about an area get to this little gem hidden away in a tiny village above Avellino. Local specialities pour from the kitchen manned by two youngsters and some gnarly looking local ladies who look like they know hoe to cook a thing or two. The food was simple, unadorned by silly garnishes, fresh, local, abundant and delicious. Simple local house wine was the perfect accompaniment to this local feast that was very easy on the pocket. Well done team.

Eustacio opened his restaurant just for us when we arrived in town to look up the birth record of our grandfather. He was not expecting our group of 6 but within minutes we had an antipasto feast followed by dishes prepared freshly at Eustacio's discretion. We loved every course and we ate till we couldn't eat another bite yet Eustacio finished our meal with wonderful sweets to finish off the afternoon! We enjoyed an unforgettable feast on a rainy May afternoon with a very warm welcome from Eustacio.

What a wonderful place, when we go to Italy we eat here, the summer is wonderful with the noise of locals and in the winter a quieter time. The food is always excellent! Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, as my boys who are now young men, have over the years adapted the menu to suit there taste. Ask them to recommend a dish and you will not be disappointed. Ask to sample a dish and nothing is too much trouble.

Eustachio is the owner is a good person welcomes you as if you are family. you eat very good appetizers before and meat is delicious
