Waitress came up and said and gave menus walked away, no hello, sorry it took so long nothing. We order she checks our order, thankfully, we explain that no we didnt order that dish we ordered this, she rolls her eyes like its a big deal to errase what she wrote....other waitresses and bartender were super nice to us though so maybe this girl was havkng off day.Ordered prime rib rare, the way it should be, waitress comes out with everyone else 's plate and informs me that they don 't have rare will medium be ok. It was but had it not been they would have eaten and had to make a new plate. Prime rib had almost no flavor at all and was very dry. Wife 's chicken fried rice was good so I 'd suggest sticking to that side of menu. The specialty drink they made her was also very good so strongly recommend the drink menu.
This restaurant is now under new ownership and has been rebranded as Knotheads. A complete renovation has enhanced its appearance and functionality. The Bait Shop continues to occupy the front section of the building. Guests can access the restaurant's dining area from the side closest to the motel in the same parking lot. The food is quite good, offering a variety of options from sandwiches to steaks and everything in between. However, the salads could use some improvement, particularly the side salad, which consisted solely of a small portion of iceberg lettuce and a bit of shredded cheese served on a saucer-sized plate. A larger portion with added tomatoes and cucumbers would make it a more satisfying accompaniment to a meal.
After placing our orders, she checked them, but when we pointed out that she had written down the wrong dish, she rolled her eyes as if it was a hassle to correct her mistake. The other waitstaff and the bartender were very friendly, so perhaps our waitress was just having a rough day. I ordered the prime rib rare, as it should be served, but when the food arrived, the waitress told me that they didn't have rare and asked if medium would be acceptable. Thankfully it was, but I couldn’t help but think about how the others at the table would have finished their meals while I waited for a new plate had I not been okay with the medium cut. Unfortunately, the prime rib was quite bland and very dry. On a positive note, my wife's chicken fried rice was good, so I would recommend sticking to that side of the menu. Additionally, the specialty drink they made for her was excellent, so I definitely recommend trying something from the drink menu.
I absolutely loved the food; it was amazing! I highly recommend it.
Fantastic staff and even more amazing food! A true gem in the community.
