Warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere and staff. Fantastic value for money yorkshire puddings were mammoth and extremely tasty would highly recommend to anyone local or visiting the area and no waiting hours for food a bonus with hungry children. Thank you and will definitely come again.

Everything about this pub is warm and welcoming from the staff to the surroundings. We have stayed all weekend in the campsite behind the pub and visited the pub twice while here. The food on the Friday night was lovely. Quick service and piping hot. I was very pleased to be able to bring my dog as it's often hard to find somewhere to go. My little boy who is two had fish fingers chips and beans and loved it. We returned today for carvery and again was not disappointed. Will definitely return next time we are over this way. :

Lovely welcome and friendly staff. Also dog friendly and made our little Yorkie Molly feel at home. The food was amazing and spot on with homemade chips! Perfect stop from a day out to Whitby, before heading home! Highly recommend.
