フィードバックを提供するI would have never expected the treat that I was about to experience, when viewing the place from outside. But, Lux Central offers some of the best quiche and nuanced coffee outside the Europe. A great, relaxed atmosphere that mixes old with new, casually careless, yet welcoming like a hug from a friend.Food: 5/5
Cool coffee shop, they roast their own so you know the quality is good and they have a pretty extensive menu! Good pastry selection too and good menu that varies between breakfast, lunch, dinner options. Entrance is a little hidden from the Main Street around the corner in the parking lot, and it can get busy at times but a hidden gem in Phoenix nonethelessParking: Decent number of spots on the side of the building
We are big fans of this place. It is a bit rustic inside, but the food and service are great. The selection of pastries was great and the coffee is top notch. The service is always friendly and helpful. Parking can be challenging depending on the time and day you visit. We stop in every time we are in the area. Enjoy.Food: 5/5
Lux is a must! The coffees delicious and they have a amazing house made whipped cream. The prices are high so he warned. The service is quick and everyone is super nice. The ambiance is extremely unique as they don't even have a sign outside or any indication of the restaurant and coffee shop within. I LOVE the baked goods! They have a massive selection daily and are inclusive of various diets (not all but some). I always get their paleo cookie and it's hard not to buy several more on the way out.
Holy Biscuits Gravy (and a whole lot more)! I first found Lux as it is right next to my co-working office in Midtown Phoenix. I went in for a coffee and to try their biscuits and gravy as that is one of my many irresistible food vices. Since that day, I have been going to Lux almost every Tuesday for the past year and a half. I wish I could say I switched it up from the biscuits and gravy from time to time due to the care for my health.. but I don't wanna lie to y'all, they're just that damn good. Now onto the service. Tito and Marty are two of the greatest servers/bartenders/good vibes humans that you'll ever meet at a food/drink establishment. In a world where customer service is spiraling downhill, these two really make you remember how much of a different good customer service makes. Moving from Portland, OR it took a while for me to find a coffee shop with the Northwest vibe and feel, Lux accomplishes that (without the attitude). It's perfect to chill in and eat breakfast before work, get some schoolwork done, or even hang out for morning drinks in their speakeasy in the back of the restaurant. If you're in Phoenix for a visit, or just feel like some good vibes, make your way down to Lux and say what's up to Tito Marty.
