I have tried many different meals and I am always impressed. They have free tea and serve a vegetable broth with fried rice. Most of the meals are vegan and only a few serve egg. The staff is kind and quick to serve. Definitely my favorite place to eat while here.
Best restaurant for who’s love healthy food. Also cheap price. High recommend for anyone didn’t want meat. But the restaurant break in 2pm-3:30pm.
I came here after visiting Wat Phnom around noon time. The restaurant was filled up nicely, not too loud, not too empty. I had a soya milk ice coffee, some vegetarian Pad Thai and the Curry noodles (meal of the day, see photo . Sadly, I was disappointed with the taste: The Pad Thai doesn't taste like Pad Thai very much, and I don't mean the lack of meat, it's more about the spices. The soya milk ice coffee hardly tasted like coffee at all. It tasted more like Thai tea. Maybe a misunderstanding? The curry tasted nice, but the vegetables were completely overcooked and the noodles stuck together. Pro: vegetarian and vegan food (if you're so inclined friendly staff lots of choice cheap price daily meals and menus AC and fans to keep you cool Neutral: portions aren't large, but big enough to fill you up. I can't say it's very dirty, but it isn't clean either (room, tea pot... Cons: Taste average at best No WiFi I can recommend it only if your looking for cheap vegetarian food, but don't care too much about the taste.
This is a very nice restaurant with a lot of vegan options and a beautifully warm ebony interior. There is a choice of seating from softer to more comfortable and firmer chairs, and the wait staff are very courteous. Not expensive and good portions after walking all day, and if you don’t plan on becoming fat or paunched. I can definitely recommend the fried morning glory. Protein, iron, and folate. It doesn’t come with rice, so you’ll have to order that separately. The mock fish sticks are pretty good and fairly portioned. They are small but you’ll only be critical if you’re incredibly petty.
Really recommend this place! Arrived in Phnom Penh a little flustered and found this place on Happy Cow! Nice and quiet, down a not so busy street off of a main street! Food was tasty, authentic and averaging around $2 per dish so affordable! I think we will be back to try more tomorrow as there is so much! Would recommend the Dumpling soup!
