Bok - Philadelphia

Truly an amazing spot on Philly with a great view of the Philly skyline. Bok Bar is located on the roof of an old school in Philly. With a wide open deck and a great view it's a fantastic place to hang out in good weather. The only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is that the beer and cocktail list is a bit limited. It seems they trade on their located more than what they serve. Still a really cool place though!

Amazing views, and an amazing vibe. I would have liked to see on draft beer options rather than just cans, and the cocktails were very weak. However, the food was great and as mentioned above the views are unbeatable.

The view is definitely breathtaking! Each week they have a new local restaurant that provides food. Good place if you’re looking to grab a bite and some drinks. Warning: on hot summer days, it definitely gets hot being on the roof and if they’re busy, good luck trying to get seated under the shaded tables. There are no fans to help with the heat so Id recommend timing out your outing to Bok Bar if it’s a hot summer day and go in the evening when it’s cooler.

Incredible view. Nice staff. Mediocre mixed drinks. Unremarkable music but I think they were having trouble with their sound system that night, I've heard the music is good other times. I'll go again but will stick to beer. The view beats any other in Philly.

You, along with everyone else, are there for the view, so expect it to be crowded even on the stickiest of days and for spot along the wall to be slim pickins. Cocktails are meh, so you’re better off getting something in a can where the outcome is as expected. The reason for the 3 stars well there’s no way to sugarcoat this or sound nice so I’ll just come out and say it…COCKROACHES. I won’t share the sizes with you for fear you think I’m exaggerating (I’m not), so yeah…just be aware. Fun spot to go to, just, you know. Maybe wear closed toe shoes.
