Luby's - Pharr

My mom and I have been enjoying meals at Luby's for many years. I take her there for dinner because, at 84, she can only eat certain foods. Luby's diverse menu makes it a perfect choice for us. The restaurant was busy, but the waitstaff quickly helped us find an empty table. The food line was hot and well-stocked, and that day, they had my mom's favorites—tortilla soup and yams. The dining area was clean, and the food servers were very polite. While the meal prices seem a bit high, they are still reasonable, making our visits more special and desired. Our waiter was attentive and courteous, contributing to a wonderful experience. Thank you for a great meal!

I really enjoyed the food here; there are plenty of options on the menu, and everything looks delicious. It was my first time visiting, and I arrived early, so I ended up waiting for the place to open—hahaha! Since I arrived early, everything was nice and clean. I did have to get up to grab my drink myself a couple of times, but that didn't bother me at all.

The ladies who attended to our table were fantastic! I believe their names were Darlene and Amber, and they did an excellent job. The food was, as always, wonderful! My family and I were very happy with our experience. The only thing we really miss every time we visit is the bowl rest or rail in front of the salad bar.

My food was delicious and the carrot cake we brought home was also very good.

Love it come here every time we go to the basilica down the road for church this is my favorite after church lunch spot before going home to San Antonio
