Artisan 179 - Pewaukee

The sunset on a summer evening was simply beautiful. The salmon served with rice cake and asparagus was out of this world. It was cooked to perfection and bursting with incredible flavors.

Ted and his team do a wonderful job providing an unforgettable experience. The food is AMAZING! Get the pork chop!

I have been couple of times here; friendly staff. generally crowded but you can find table w/o rez. tasty food, cozy environment.

The service was excellent, and we enjoyed dining outdoors with a lovely view of Pewaukee Beach. It created a nice atmosphere. However, when it comes to the food, I was quite disappointed with my beet salad. I've eaten here several times before, but they should really rename it an arugula salad. The tri-colored beets were almost nonexistent, and the cucumber and radish slices were tiny—so small I needed a magnifying glass to see them. To top it off, there was no goat cheese at all, and the pistachios were hardly more than a sprinkle on my plate. The dressing was good, but I’m not sure if the blame lies with the chef or the owner. Overall, it was the worst beet salad I've ever had in terms of quality, especially for $15. My husband enjoyed a delicious turkey club with fries for $18, which makes the value assessment seem off. This was the first time I've been really disappointed with my meal at this restaurant.

Fantastic meal and service. The Wagyu ribeye special was absolutely top-notch, and the portion sizes are very generous. We will definitely be coming back!
