Alexander's - Petersburg

Great food and great service. We had the pepper steak and cheese sandwich and the manicotti. We also had the combination appetizer. Everything was awesome. The appetizer was very reasonably priced and allowed us to try many of their items. All were tasty. We definitely recommend the restaurant. As others said, the waitress was great. She was super personable and very attentive. 5 out of 5. Service: Dine in

I love this place for several reasons. First, I Love and respect Spiro for hiring me back in the day when I attended Virginia State University. He fed myself and college roommates when we did not have money and expected nothing in return. He has such a big heart! Secondly, I love this place because of the great food. All meals are made fresh with the finest ingredients which makes for a spectacular menu. The recipes have stayed consistent over the years and all meals are economically priced. I love Bill and Joe too for they have also made Alexander's a great place to dine. Thank you for always making me feel special when I do come to Alexander's. Janet

Love this place! The food is great but the owners are even more amazing! They make you feel at home and part of the family. I have been going here for over 15 years and haven't had a bad experience yet!!!

Small quaint place. Service was good. Food is fresh and hot. Only a minor thing, I got the meatball casserole with mushrooms. Meatballs were homemade, the mushrooms were not fresh mushrooms, looked to be can. Really ashame being homemade food and a disappointment. But still amazing.
