We live Wild Goat! The quality of the food and the ambiance is awesome! We went last night for our anniversary! My husband and I were both saying how consistent the restaurant is with everything! Never a bad meal!
Having a gluten allergy, Celiac, it's very difficult to eat out. Here at Wild Goat Bistro they have several gluten free options, and can make many dishes gluten free. Most importantly their staff understands the issue of cross contamination in the kitchen and makes a notation for the Chef that it's a gluten free dish. Also when delivered to your table they repeat that's it's a gluten free dish. So if you have Celiac you can feel pretty safe eating here, as you know, with Celiac, there's no guarantee, but I'm writing this the day after and I'm fine. Just make sure you tell the service person when ordering. With all that said, the food, atmosphere, and service is great. We had a goat cheese starter. It was delicious, my only recommendation would be to toast the gluten feee bread, but they may not have a dedicated toaster to use with gluten free bread only. The olives delicious and our entree, pork loin, was cooked perfectly and delicious.
I was so disappointed with my lunch the other day. Been a patron for at least a decade. I was celebrating a friend's birthday. The salad was sub par with a couple pcs of tuna for 24 dollars? I will not be going back sadly to Wild Goat. Once a favorite, now a ? disappointment.
I really wanted to like this more. For a restaurant on the water that was pretty empty they sat me right on the street which wasn’t bad, except they forgot I was there. I ordered a glass of bubbles right when I sat down and they forgot about it until I asked when they brought my food out. I love vegan options but would have appreciated flavor coming with it, I got the quinoa sweet potato cakes that had an undressed slaw on top. While there were sauces on the bottom of the plate they were more for show than functioned within the dish.
