Cheese Factory - Petaluma

I enjoyed the best goat cheese I ever tasted on my salad. The chicken truffle cheese package was delicious, the ambience I was looking for. I'll be back!

Great selection of cheeses and crackers. Very peaceful area to sit and enjoy with friends. Besides cheese, they also have some tasty cookies. Enjoy the view while you eat!

A very cool discovery on the road between Petaluma and Point Reyes Station. Freshly made artisan cheeses, it seemed as though they specialized in the softer varieties. We bought several small cheeses to try and they were all delicious. Prices were a bit more than I would normally pay for cheese, but this isn't your regular off the shelf variety. Make sure to stop and read the historical plaque in the parking lot!

This is a great cheese company store, located rurally on the farm. It 's worth the drive through the farmland (don 't hit the cyclists in their cycling outfits). Lots of cheese selection with employees who seem to actually care about cheese, and a small explanation of the history of the farm (it 's now owned by a large French corporation now). Kind of expensive, but that 's expected when it 's fancy like that .

The prices are very affordable, and the staff is incredibly helpful. There’s a lovely picnic area that makes for a peaceful setting, ideal for families. The shop also features a deli where you can order freshly made sandwiches, as well as pre-made options if you're in a rush. In addition to cheese, they offer artisan desserts, salami, crackers, and a variety of other gourmet goods.
