Cheese Factory - Petaluma

We stumbled upon a wonderful gem during our trip from Point Reyes National Seashore. The staff were incredibly friendly and took the time to explain the cheese production process, as well as how to best savor our selections. We chose the Golden Gate, Morning Brie, and Jalapeño Brie. As we were leaving, we grabbed a piece of warm baguette and enjoyed a delightful snack outside at one of the many tables. It's a fantastic spot with a rich history!

This is an excellent spot to indulge in your delightful dreams. They offer a wide selection of soft cheeses, including Crème, Camembert, Creamy Brie, truffles, and much more. There's even a reduced section for products with expiration dates over a month away, indicating their commitment to quality control. While the crackers and dry bread are a bit on the pricier side, it's what you'd expect for this type of establishment. There's also a small sandwich shop available on-site. The picturesque pond with a picnic table nearby adds to the charm, surrounded by beautiful wildlife, including ducks and cranes. I highly recommend this place as a wonderful escape.

This is a fantastic cheese shop located right on the edge of the street—definitely worth a visit! They offer an impressive selection of cheeses, perfect for anyone seeking variety. The prices are very affordable, and the staff is incredibly helpful. There’s a lovely picnic area that makes for a peaceful setting, ideal for families. The shop also features a deli where you can order freshly made sandwiches, as well as pre-made options if you're in a rush. In addition to cheese, they offer artisan desserts, salami, crackers, and a variety of other gourmet goods.

I enjoyed the best goat cheese I ever tasted on my salad. The chicken truffle cheese package was delicious, the ambience I was looking for. I'll be back!

Great selection of cheeses and crackers. Very peaceful area to sit and enjoy with friends. Besides cheese, they also have some tasty cookies. Enjoy the view while you eat!
