フィードバックを提供するWe live near San Francisco and have access to great food choices including Alice Water's Chez Panisse. This place rates right up there with some of the best. Food is very fresh, and menu changes based on what is available. Luca is the owner. He was also bartender and our waiter the night we ate there as we do not speak Italian and his English is very good. They serve real wines by the glass for 3.5 euro (all are same price) and Luca had some great recommendations. Courses are not huge, so you can actually have both a primi and a secondi and not feel too full. Decor was colorful, young and hip, but we loved it as well and we're pushing 50. The restaurant is just off of Piazza Italia, located downstairs. If you know good food and crave it when you travel give this spot a try, you will not be disappointed. Restaurant opened in Spring 2011. Definitely not a tourist trap.
Excellent venue with high value for money. Home-made variety of bread for each sandwich, excellent quality of ingredients, very good service, good wine-list at honest prices. Large variety of finger foods for those who decide to have a drink (aperitivo). I strongly reccomend this place. We were there during Umbria Jazz and loved it.
I just happened upon this restaurant which opened only recently. It was clear from the lack of customers that they've only just begun. After eating at 2 or 3 other disappointing establishments in Perugia, I was prepared for one more. But it was great!!! It was akin to Italian health food, an incredible salad and pasta dish and killer chocolate dessert and an excellent glass of wine, all for less than 15 Euros. The owner was very friendly. This is the kind of place that will become popular by word of mouth as it is not on the main drag and you could walk right by it without noticing it. I look forward to my return.
