Rita's Italian Ice Frozen Custard

This place use to be ok but I just left with my family and let me tell you , the( WG) here today 08-10-23 at 6:40 was very rude and racist . When we got up there to order her demeanor changed she made the ices with a snotty attitude, and really got upset that I used a free ICE bar code . This turkey dropped all the change in my husband hand like she was scared of touching him because of his skin color . DON’T WORK AT A PLACE LIKE THIS IF YOU DON’T LIKE OTHER RACES. … PS we usually leave $10-$15 tip but not today get rid of the trash customer service (WG) and maybe . But I think we are done with Rita’s the market has better ices PHILLY SWIRLS ARE BETTER .

Their Gelati’s are good they have a amazing soft serve and average Italian ice however what makes me give Rita’s 3 stars is their prices 6+ dollars for a Gelati it might be good but it is not that good. So because of this I would much rather stop at a typical family owned snowball shop.

I’m a former employee here. I worked here for 5 years, and looked at this establishment as a 2nd home. My beloved boss passed away and new ownership came along. It was two men, Tim Brian. They had an extreme rivalry between one another. The both of them were uneducated on Rita’s but money buys anything nowadays. It was an extremely inappropriate and uncomfortable setting to work in. I was the manager and dealt with unprofessional/disgusting remarks. The one that stood out the most was Tim saying “telling Brian’s wide he cheats on her for a bonus.” I left this job a while ago. I kept most of this/still have private due to legal reasons. I’ve now been called names, and ignored regarding my tax forms. All in all* DO NOT let your child work here, until new ownership comes in (which will likely be a long time. Corp won’t risk having the business shut down as it’s one of the best makers in MD due to the location.I left a similar review a long time ago, and it got deleted. They also forged my name onto a serve safe document along with others. I could go on. But my most important message is to the people who want to apply here. Save yourself from a huge mess. Ps. He owns joppatowne too.

There's a large selection of icee flavors, milkshakes, gelatos, and more. Good place to go with the kids, significant other, or family, however, it is a little pricey.

I've been to a lot of Rita's stores. I like the product. But I've never, ever been at one with decent customer service. Someone needs to light a fire under their butts. Yeesh
