I had the Tuscan Scramble, there was a lot of taste, but the tomato topping was immature and would better have been completely omitted. The pancakes were all right, I don't know I'd get them back. Coffee was hot and delicious!
Nice place, good, very friendly service, good food. Good price. We both had the Burrito, kind of hard to screw this simple order. Clean bathroom. We will definitely go back before we say “take visitors”.
18 July 2021 review. We were party of 8 and had to wait for 30 mins as it was Sunday so it is understandable. Once we were inside the staff was really courteous and we asked for suggestions and some customization in food and they were open and receptive. Food was really fresh and tasted amazing. Everything we ordered was wonderful and each of us enjoyed it to the last bit. We ordered Breakfast Burrito, Buttermilk Pancakes, Mexican Omlette, Avocado Toast, Waffles and Create your own omlette too. Service was quick, server was cheerful and courteous, restaurant is clean. Washrooms were clean. Coffee was great. We had a wonderful time with family and friends. I would definitely recommend it. The wait time was worth it.
We have enjoyed Taylor's since it was formerly known as The Egg and I. The quality of the food has remained excellent despite the name change; if anything, it seems to have improved. During my last visit, I tried the green chili on one of their signature omelettes, and it was fantastic. My mom especially appreciates that they provide coffee for the table. The food is tasty, and the portion sizes are generous. The staff is always friendly. Occasionally, there might be a slight wait for a table, but once you place your order, the food comes out quickly. I really like Taylor's, and we keep coming back.
This was our third visit, and the meals have consistently been excellent. We've spent more elsewhere for less quality. While some of the sauces might not be homemade, everything complements each other well. My wife ordered the Colorado Jack scramble and found it very enjoyable, although she thought the bacon could have been a bit less oily. I had the huevos rancheros, which was delicious; the flavors were well-balanced, and a dash of hot sauce made it even better. The waitstaff was friendly and checked on us several times. Overall, a great spot for breakfast!
