Petrella's Italian Cafe - Pensacola

My family and I just left and I couldn't wait to leave a review! Petrella's blew every expectation we had out of the water. So good. Got the crab cakes, stuffed grouper, fried flounder, chicken rigatoni, lasagna, and tuxedo cake. Everything was amazing, down to the soup that came with our entrees. The waitress was wonderful too, wish I remembered her name to mention!

I'm not even finished w/ my meal i'm typing this review. It's THAT good!! CAJUNS! HEAR ME OUT!!! Get the chicken sausage gumbo!!! We're from an area 30min from New Orleans this is the best restaurant gumbo I've ever had. I asked if they had a cajun in the kitchen! Lol It's almost as good as mine! I was thoroughly impressed. I was expecting grilled chicken for my fettuccine, but honestly... phenomenal either way! My husband had a ziti dish w/ mushrooms in it he said he wished they had been cooked down more, but it was still good. I cannot wait to bring our friends w/ us next time!!

Home cooked Italian food, we got eggplant parm sub fettuccine Alfredo, loved how thinly sliced slightly breaded the eggplant was , with layers of sauce Got personal pizza and the dough was homemade but not too thick. Cheese was real Then a classic spaghetti with meat sauce all enough for 3 ppl and 2 meals each. Salads best homemade ranch.

We've been here several times. It's always worth the wait- usually an hour. Huge, fresh salads, huge portions of yummy italian dishes. This tour of Italy lasted me 2 days!We choose this cozy place over commercialized Olive Garden every time! Only cons- it's small and needs some sprucing on the atmosphere.

Went there for lunch on Thursday and they were a little busy but were pretty fast. Costumer service was great. Our waitress was awesome she was very attentive. Food was great, I had a lasagna and my son had a fettuccine Alfredo. It’s a nice restaurant over all.
