Flx Luxury Luncheons - Penn Yan

Excellent meal for the family. We tried four different meals. Fish fry, schnitzel, chicken and smash burger. Full of flavor. All were outstanding. I would highly recommend this restaurant if visiting the Finger Lakes area. It sits by Keuka Lake. I plan to visit it again when the weather is warmer. Lovely decor, Vanessa, our waitress, was so pleasant and on top of everything. Try it! You will not be disappointed.

We stay at the Hampton next door and were in need of an early dinner, we will never go there again. I read this is a farm to table restaurant, how do you serve a ribeye for $41 with over salted potatoes and no veggie? The beef had some type of vinegar sauce on it, terrible! Asked for a dry Reisling (popular in this region) received a dessert wine. The salmon was mussy, and rice was crunchy. The waitress seemed stressed and unable to help with the meal issues. The Hampton has dinner service, we will make better plans next time we are in the area. The interior is very nice, and view is beautiful. We did go for food however! My husband gave the service a nice tip, food is not her fault!! Beware of docking a boat, the dock is covered, ever inch by the presence of birds.

Great location and good decor inside, however parking lot is in rough shape and the exterior isn’t very welcoming. Perhaps the new owner ran out of cash?? We were staying at the Hampton Inn and only went to Main Deck because it was a 5 minute walk. Very poor….waited a while for drinks and food was way overpriced with a very limited, uninspiring menu. Not busy for a Saturday night, but our waitress claimed to be swamped and spent all night apologising to every table for everything…and pretty sure this happens nightly. Table beside us had asked to speak to the manager, but the manager wasn’t available and pretty sure was hiding ‘below deck’. I think that sums it up and honestly haven’t experienced anything as bad as this. Staff didn’t appear to be interested in working there and were just going through the motions…..badly. Owner might want to check things out one evening, before this place goes under. If you are looking for a great restaurant, then check out the Keuka Restaurant in Penn Yan. Great food with extensive menu, outstanding service and great atmosphere. Wish we’d returned to that one!

Great lake views, good food, and matching service. There was also a live trivia game going on in the bar area, although we were seated in a quieter area on our own request. I enjoyed my meal, as did my dinner companions. I recommend this restaurant. Full bar.

This is a really cool restaurant. The boat bar is so cool, the deck and patio have some of the best views of Keuka Lake. We 'd love to experience Main Deck on an in-season weekend. Our food was so good! I had the half chicken which was, with no exaggerating, the best chicken I ever had. No kidding. Perfectly cooked, not dry, crispy seasoned skin. Perfection! My husband had the salmon and it was really good as well. My only complaint was the upcharge for our drinks on the rocks . Why charge us $2 each for a square ice cube? I 've never experienced that before. Server was really nice, but service was a little slow at times.
