The Old Mill Harvester - Pencoed

I highly recommend the ultimate combo! It was absolutely stunning! The service was good, and our drinks were served promptly. However, I was a bit disappointed with the salad bar. I usually enjoy the pasta, but since this was my first visit to this branch, I was surprised to find that the pasta was a strange stained orange color and quite dry. I chose not to eat it and just had a bread roll instead. My partner tried it and found it very dry and lacking flavor. We love the Harvester's signature pasta on the salad bar, but this was the only branch where we've seen pasta like this. It was listed as tomato and herb, but there were no herbs in sight. Is this the usual pasta you serve, or was there an issue? I would appreciate your response. Thank you!

The food was fantastic, and the staff provided excellent service. It’s a wonderful place to dine, and I will definitely be coming back. I managed to book a table for five at the last minute on Bank Holiday Sunday without any hassle, which was a pleasant surprise for everyone in my party. The food was outstanding. We will all be returning soon!

Where do I begin? This might be the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. First off, the drink selection was extremely limited, and there was hardly any staff around. I had to ask for cutlery and only received forks. To make matters worse, I was served the wrong meal; two burgers came out burnt to a crisp—I swear if I threw one at a window, it would shatter the glass. The chips were cold, and the burgers lacked any flavor. The salad appeared to have been sitting out all day. On a positive note, the staff were friendly, but overall, I definitely wouldn't recommend this place.

Meal for a group of 8 eating from the adult menu. Pleasant atmosphere. Menu is consistent with most Harvester restaurants. Food served quickly. Eirwen our server was extremely good, quick to respond and nothing was too much trouble. I raised an issue with two of our desserts which was resolved quickly and with no hassle.

Food lovely but steak seemed small and l9ads of fat for the price. The waitress was absolutely lovely. Salad bar was great. Just a little sad it cost £50 for 2 people and we didn't even have starters or desserts.
