フィードバックを提供するThe renter julian and his family gave us a warm greeting when we visited twice last week during the stay in aberfforest. basic menu because covid but delicious and plentiful.
Julian and Alison offer a super friendly, child, dog and dirty boots welcome and it’s our go to place. Food is pub grub and the locals make you feel like your part of the furniture.
The pub did not follow Covid safety requirements. None of the staff wore face masks. Customers were able to wander around without face coverings. They did not enforece table service only with a number of customers standing at the bar. Although there was supposedly a...one way system customers seemed to move around with no regard to any one way system. As a result I, as someone who is at high risk due to medication, did not feel safe to remain in the pub.
From outside a quiet unassuming little countryside pub. A warm welcome and good service from all the staff. We had an enjoyable afternoon drink, scampi and chips sat in the beer garden. The place was spotless. The food was as described by the barman simple...fare, but good quality, well presented and very enjoyable
Stayed near by for a few days and luckily found the Ship Aground. Owners are brilliant locals friendly to tourists. Thanks for looking after us
