La Carreta Pembroke Pines

Not the greatest Cuban cuisine... atmosphere is loud and seating reminds me of a cafeteria.... food quality doesn't equal the price while not expensive, too much based on quality. Communication barriers with service staff.

This is a good place to go for Cuban food. The food is good and the atmosphere is nice. Anything you order is pretty good.

This is the second La Carreta Restaurant I have visited. Both the Pembroke Pines and Miami restaurants suffer from poor service and boring food.

On the morning of May 3rd, 2008, I took my family to dine in the fast food area for some (coffee w/milk, hot chocolate, toast, pastelitos, and various other items) the area that was suppose to be for general sit down, was occupied thus no where to sit. My wife asked to sit in the main area since no other chairs were available, the manager was extremely rude and told her to sit in the bar area with the children. Naturally we got upset since the restaurant was virtually empty and plenty of chairs/tables were available in the other area of the dining area. It is not correct to sit children in a bar atmosphere.

I have eaten at other La Carreta restaurants and this by far is the one that has the best food. They have a delicious chicken on the menu and I love the fry snapper.
