Mcdonald's - Pekin

I’ve worked at McDonald’s, Wendy’s, and Lagondola and I’ve never experienced service like this before, I’m not mad more of just disappointed… I waited 30 minutes for 4 Oreo frappes and the manger was super nice and apologized for the wait but there’s really no reason that I should’ve waited that long for frappes… I just hope in the future they really try to work together, it seemed like their frappé machine was acting up yet the girl who was working on my order had asked for help 4 times and they all ignored her until the very last moment… like I said I’m not even mad I just will not be coming back..

This place is always filthy when we go in here. You can't even sit at a table because they're all dirty. We ended up getting our food to go. The one down town is much better.

I ordered 2 plain hamburgers and it took 15minutes and 39 seconds and then they seemed overcooked a little to much. I have worked for McDonald's for 8 years and in the restaurant industry for at least 27 years and that I would be ashamed to have served that!!!

Why is it so difficult to order a hamburger instead of a cheeseburger? The restaurant should stick to serving hamburgers, with cheese as an optional extra. Not everyone can consume dairy. I once waited 10 minutes for a simple kid's hamburger, and they ended up making it three times before finally getting it right without cheese.

While I was at the condiments station to get ketchup for my wife's fries, I noticed there was none available. We had to go back to the counter to grab some packets instead. I understand that there may be staff shortages, but the condiment station was unkempt, with mustard and fountain drink splatters making the area look filthy. Honestly, the dirty environment almost made us leave. I won't be returning to this restaurant again. The owner or manager should reconsider their position, as they clearly need to improve operations. If you're looking for a good experience, drive to the McDonald's in North Pekin—they truly set the standard for service and cleanliness that this place lacks.
