Lagondola - Pekin

I ordered the spaghetti and a torpedo deluxe sandwich. The sandwich was tasty, but the meat sauce for the spaghetti was mostly watery. Overall, the spaghetti was quite bland.

If you're in the mood for delicious spaghetti, a gondola-style sandwich, fantastic pizza, or even sweet garlic bread, this is the place to be! This restaurant has been a staple in the same location for as long as I can remember—dating back to the 1970s. It's a classic establishment in Pekin, offering reasonably priced meals with great flavor and quality.

They have switched salmi and somethings wrong with the bread. Not sure if they were bought by someone but it's icky just like the Creve coeur location.

5 star food, 4 star service, 1 star not having toilet connected to the floor

You can sit down and have a meal, after ordering at the window. I don't enjoy eating in, but can. Haven't had anything bad from here, though it does taste different from many places. I do highly recommend their supreme torpedo's. One of the best sandwiches on the market.
