Godfather's Pizza - Pekin

Second time I've came in a year. The gluten free options still on the menu. Last time they told me it was hit and miss. It's still on the menu. This time time they tell me they no longer serve it. No chicken. No potatoes. Corn was questionable. Dirtytables. Not was it was years ago.

Food was very good. They seemed a little short staffed but the girl they had working did a good job. Delicious pizza

The buffet offered a wide variety of pizzas, along with other delicious options. They even had chicken livers and gizzards for those who enjoy them! The food was being replenished constantly, so nothing was running out. My only complaint was that the unsweetened iced tea had a strange taste. I switched to Mello Yellow, and that was perfectly fine. The place got busy, so I assume the buffet is quite popular, but there were also other customers just ordering pizza. I'm glad I decided to stop by. I recommend giving this place a try!

After placing an online order, I waited over two hours for my food to arrive. When I called after an hour, I was informed that the system was down, yet no one bothered to reach out to me about the delay. I called again after another hour, only to be told there was nothing they could do. The manager I spoke to, Amanda, refused to cancel my order or offer any resolution, saying she had another call and customers in front of her, and suggested I call back tomorrow to speak with someone else. I'm completely shocked that someone like her holds a supervisory position, and I will not be spending my money at this restaurant again.

The atmosphere here isn't upscale, and that suits me just fine; I don't require a fancy dining experience. Right off the bat, I was impressed by the young woman behind the counter who greeted me. She was very knowledgeable, had a great personality, and was genuinely eager to help. In fact, all the staff were very engaged and attentive. The food was consistently replenished, so everything was fresh and plentiful. My only minor complaint was that the unsweetened iced tea had a strange taste, but I switched to Mello Yellow and that was refreshing.
