Kouri's Grill - Pekin

I ordered a grilled chicken salad, and it was terrible. The chicken was tough, as if it had been heated in a microwave. How can you mess up a grilled chicken salad? I might as well have thrown my money in the trash because that's how I felt about the meal.

When I ordered my meal, I noticed a small disclaimer at the bottom of the menu warning about potential contamination with items marked by a star, including seafood and undercooked chicken. This was a huge red flag that I should have paid attention to. Overall, I wish I had trusted my instincts and left before 9 PM. Yuck.

The salmon salad was fantastic! It featured crisp green romaine lettuce and a generous portion of perfectly cooked salmon from Dixon's. If you're a fan of unsweetened tea, you'll find that it was excellent as well.

I had half a Pastrami sandwich and half an Italian Sausage sandwich, and both were excellent. I highly recommend them!

The owner allows his staff to verbally abuse the customers with no recourse.
