Pho Saigon - Pearland

The food was fantastic, and the customer service was outstanding! It seems the restaurant is under new, excellent management. The manager personally checked in on customers, showing a willingness to go above and beyond. Plus, he's quite attractive! 5/5

I've visited several Pho Saigon locations, and I wasn't let down at this one. They consistently meet my expectations, and I left feeling quite satisfied! I ordered #18 with all the meats in a small size because I'm trying to watch my waistline—just kidding, not really! I also got the spring rolls and an egg roll, which were both excellent. The broth was flavorful, and the meats were cooked perfectly. The server was quick, and I received my food in no time. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed, accompanied by soft music. I highly recommend dining in if you have the time!

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant due to the service. One of the waiters was quite rude; he approached our table and bluntly asked, "What do you want?" without offering us water or even making eye contact. Another server simply dropped our dish on the table without explaining what it was. Given that all Pho can look similar, we wanted to confirm what we had ordered, but after asking twice, he merely pointed at us in response. Since this is a family-run restaurant, it seems unlikely that they will improve their service in the future. I would recommend looking elsewhere for a better dining experience. On a positive note, I still have to commend the food and acknowledge one waiter who was much more professional than the rest.

This was actually our third visit to this restaurant since we live nearby. We stopped in for lunch and ordered the com thit nuong and pho tai nam gau gan. While the dishes were decent, I’ve had better pho at other restaurants in Pearland. The com thit nuong was flavorful and well-prepared, but it came with a side broth that was much too salty for my taste. The pho tai nam gau gan was also overly salty, and aside from the eye round steak, the other meat was overcooked. We didn’t even need to add any extra hoisin sauce or Sriracha because of how salty the broth was. I don't recall our previous visits having quite as salty food as we experienced this time. Additionally, the service was lacking; our waitress took our order, but then someone else brought our food, and after that, no one checked on us or refilled our drinks.

On my last visit, I ordered a pork sandwich and asked if they could cut it in half. The older lady serving us cut me off mid-sentence to say no. If you're looking for good pho along with good customer service, I recommend seeking out another restaurant. One good option is Yummy Pho Bo Ne, located near Sam's and 288, where the meatballs are fresh and tasty.
