Dave's Ice Cream At Pearl City

The ice cream here is quite enjoyable, featuring a slightly stretchy texture rather than being ultra-creamy. I particularly liked the ube flavor. It does melt quickly, which often indicates a lack of preservatives. The staff were efficient and readily answered our questions. The shop is small and lacks seating, which would be a nice touch since there's really no place outside to enjoy your ice cream. We ended up eating ours in the car.

So I only wanted to go to this one because my s/o said they preferred this one over aiea. After we went, he admitted he thinks he only prefers it because of nostalgia from going to blockbuster as a kid then getting ice cream here. LolWe walked in and the first thing I noticed was that it was HOT for an ice cream shop. The scoops were on the softer side, borderlining soft serve because if it. I didn't get much of an ube flavor, but the green tea definitely shined through.The cashier was an older auntie who gave us candy for Easter Sunday with the ice cream. Would probably only come back to this location if I was in the plaza for the bank or Safeway.

I rarely visit this location. My friend and I were browsing the various ice cream flavors when we noticed the staff member sitting against a wall in a chair, engrossed in his phone. It felt disrespectful and made us feel unimportant, as if his phone was more significant than our presence. We haven't returned since that experience.

The owner is incredibly friendly and always welcomes kids with a smile. We usually stop by here after our visits to Chuck E. Cheese, and on this occasion, I was really tired, so I was thrilled to discover they serve blended coffee. Who would have thought? You can choose between French vanilla or mocha, topped with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. I decided to go for the mocha, and at just $5.99, it did not disappoint. The coffee was much stronger than any drink I've had at Starbucks and kept me energized all night! My daughter loves the blue cotton candy, which they always have in stock, and one of my personal favorites is the strawberry icee float with rainbow sherbet.
