Revesby Village Chinese Restaurant

This restaurant offers original and delicious dishes with a great flavor. The food is brilliant and tastes really good.

YM House is a restaurant that I visited on April 4th, 2016.

EDIT: Now seems to have either changed hands again or they've gotten their act together. Food and service now the best they've ever been! Definitely now a favourite restaurant. this place changed hands last year, everything good disappeared! Now **** food, and crappier service! Hilltop used to be the best in the area now I wouldn't go anywhere near it!

Original Flavor House is a great place with delicious and innovative dishes that taste really good.

The Revesby Village Chinese Restaurant was previously Shen’s Kitchen. I did not know it had changed hands when I ordered take away. We had :-Short Soup. It was OKFried Rice. I found it strange that there was no Chinese BBQ pork but beef strips instead. Otherwise the fried rice was OKHoney Chicken. Usually Honey Chicken comes with chrispy fried bits of chicken and honey. They put the honey on the chicken and when I got home it was a gluggy soggy mess that all stuck together. The honey at the bottom of the container was glutinous and not very sweet. I wanted BBQ Chow Mein but had to settle for beef. I was expecting crispy noodles and a container of the beef and vegies. What I got was a container of mostly noodles and some beef and vegies. The noodles were on the top and not mixed with the beef/ vegies. The noodles reminded me of what you get in Singapore noodles but with no spices. The noodles were neither crispy nor well cooked like in a Long Soup. They were very chewy and I think were meant to be that way. The noodles had not become chewy because of being in the same container as the beef and vegies.Lastly Shen’s Kitchen gave 10% off for take away, the Revesby Village Chinese Restaurant does not. Also if your expecting a few free prawn crackers for spending nearly $50 you will be out of luck and the Revesby Village Chinese Restaurant don’t take credit cards either. Cash only.
