Cortina - Paterson

Exceptional food service. Atmosphere was very pleasant the servers were so very cordial. Have had Easter dinner there a birthday dinner. Five star restaurant definitely!

I 'll keep it short. The lighting was awful. It was so dark we had trouble reading the menu. The fried calamari was over-cooked so it was rubbery. The main course was passable but nothing to write home about. When the man brought the dessert tray, I asked what kind of cake it was sitting on the tray. He shrugged and replied I don 't know . He didn 't offer to find out what it was. The service was slow and very unprofessional. I will say the band playing that night was good. I really enjoyed the music but I don 't know that we will be returning to Cortina 's any time soon.
