It will take two hours to get through a tasting and get paid up.Other people were complaining. The wines are by far the best we had in Paso Robles.Just not worth spending half an afternoon and $50 per person for small tastes.
Such a wonderful experience!!! Nicole S was so knowledgeable and attentive,? we will definitely come back for her and the amazing wine!
AUSTIN NOPE.We were a party of 4 walking into the winery, at 4 PM. There were 3 hosts at the host stand, chatting with each other, one asked what we wanted. We asked if we could do a walk in tasting. He told us they stopped doing them at 3:30pm, which is okay. Then we asked if we could buy a glass of wine or a bottle. He proceeded to let tell us, they were closing at 5 and he would have to ask permission to pour us a glass or sell us something. So we waited in the lobby, it was NOT busy. We patiently waited for about 15 minutes while he finished his conversation with the female hostess. Then we watched him wander aimlessly around the winery and asked no-one. Then he walked back to the host stand to keep chatting. Eventually we decided to call it and go to a nearby winery where we would be treated better. He randomly us a free bottle of wine on our way out, but not without lecturing us about making a reservation. We came here based on friends that are current members, and their recommendation. But this was possibly the worst experience we had all weekend in Paso Robles. We felt very ignored, and disrespected as customers. If they were busy we would have understood. But it was empty. More employees than customers with an hour til closing. It didn’t make sense to us, other than the one host wanting to get out early.
Terrible experience. The Host seemed discriminatory and condescending. We will never come back here, nor recommend to others. Wine is always good, but customer service is what makes the difference in this town. Austin Hope did not conform. Very disappointed.
My favourite Cabernet Sauvignon right now, so visiting the winery was an absolute pleasure. Their barn-like atmosphere is very nice and the tasting of their many wines was even better! Highly recommend stopping by this winery (or at least trying their bottles at your local liquor store).
