The taste of pho here is more flavour than the others and have quite expensive price for the foods. Dont order the Large one, because it seems like they just put more soup on it, rather have the small one. I recommend the Beef one and unrecommend the chicken and seafood pho, it tastes so bland ksi
Tried their famous Pho Ga which is one of their bestseller. this pho(Phoa) has a light chicken broth with lots of fish balls and flossed chicken. It tastes refreshing. but not too overwhelming. We also tried Goi Cuon (Fresh Spring Rolls) but these tastes nothing without the peanut sauce and hoisin sauce. All i can say that if you want to try Vietnamese cuisine this is for you. but don't expect for a best pho. foodchief.weebly.com
I'm not sure if I'm just really no fan of Vietnamese food but my first time here at Pho Hoa, I didn't like the food - it's bland and lacks flavor. I've been to Vietnam a few times but the food there isn't like what I had in here. Hmmm. Would like to give it a second try next time.
There are a lot of dishes from different cuisines that I haven't tried yet. I know, it's weird that I call myself a foodie when there are a lot of aspects about food I haven't explored yet. I never had the urge to go out and try Vietnamese food, especially their noodles since I don't really see it as an appetizing dish. What it looks to me is a sad, boring soup. However, since I know a few people who praise the goodness of what they call "pho", what seemed black and white turned into a colorful plan that was finally executed one Friday noon at Pho Hoa. Most might say that this isn't a good place to get my first pho, but this is the closest I can get, so why not? I got their Pho Nam, Gan noodle soup which has brisket and tendon. We also got an order of their fresh spring rolls. ????FRESH SPRING ROLLS P155 Their spring rolls, although healthy, were pretty good. It was nothing but the good combination between the vegetables and the peanut sauce that made it worth ordering. ????BRISKET AND TENDON NOODLE SOUP (regular) P295 The noodle soup was what I expected. It was bland, with just a hint of cilantro in the soup. The thinly cut beef pieces were good and had a little flavor, which was okay if you eat it alone, but not if you expect it to have an effect on the soup. The place looks like the setup in mall foodcourts except that this one has its own doors. It gets easily packed regardless of the time, especially since it can only accommodate roughly about 15-20 customers, but service is quick so people just come and go. In the end I can say that I'm still willing to give Vietnamese food a chance, since I haven't really understood the flavors of their cuisine. I guess I'm going for another bowl of Pho and some vermicelli next time. gastronomida.blogspot.com
