I wasn't there for a wedding or reception or to eat in the cafe, which I was disappointed it was not open. I was there for the Holiday Lights Festival. It was enjoyable enough and manageable on foot, but not all handicap friendly. Hopefully they will continue to find ways to make it more easily inclusive for those elderly with mobility issues and all those who have physical challenges.
We came for the Light Trail. The venue is gorgeous, I can only imagine how magical weddings are here. The Light Trail is catered more for younger kids with activities, but is fun for adults as well. Good value for the price.
Stayed in Victorian Tulip weekend of November 13. Tiny house was really cool. Unfortunately for a taller person like me, tiny was not exactly the best place for me to stay but was a present to the missus. The old western town facades were cool in the back, and far enough away where the wedding noise wasn't noticeable. Had issues with heater/ac combo. Hint: set it to the heat mode and temp, then turn off the system, wait a few minutes and turn it back on with the same settings. Breakfast was very good as well. Would recommend. Only downside is location relative to really anything.
We stayed in one of the little cabins at the venue. Jackie greeted us and was so nice! We loved sitting on the little porch with the soft music playing amongst the cafe lights strung across the cove of the little cabins. We definitely be back to stay! oh, and the bed was super comfy!
