Amara Chocolate Coffee - Pasadena

I love the baked empanadas. The spinach and beef empanadas were so amazing they didn't even need the salsa. Three of them are filling for one person. The plantains are fantastic on their own or with the cheese. The coffee is strong and less on the sweet side and served in generous sized mugs. The indoor seating can feel a little crowded but there is plenty of outdoor seating available.

An incredible breakfast. The corn pancakes were great, but the churros and chocolate!?!? Wow!!!

Have enjoyed coming here to try new things! Their food has been pretty good. Especially the guava cheese pastry. Atmosphere is nice and people are friendly. Looking forward to going back to get something new. Little pricey, but I guess that's because of the location and rising costs. They have fresh squeezed orange juice which is nice.

Sevice is always amazing and the food comes out excellent and timely. The restaurant is very peaceful and makes people feel right at home.

Good spot for coffee, hot chocolate and pair it with churros. They have an outdoor seating that's a good spot to enjoy your beverage after a day of walking and shopping.
