Carmelita's Bakery - Parlier

The customer service is horrible. the lady at the register is rude, not worth it in my option even if the bread is good. you’re better off going somewhere else.

It's a lovely place to pick up bread, but there are times when the shelves are bare.

This used to be my favorite bakery – they had the best bread in the valley. Unfortunately, the customer service is terrible. The older woman at the register is incredibly rude, and based on other reviews, it seems I'm not the only one who feels this way. While most places don't require face masks anymore, this bakery insists that everyone put one on as soon as they walk in. If they're concerned about COVID, they should just have their employees wear masks and allow customers to decide for themselves.

It's August 2022, and even places like Walmart, malls, and casinos—busy with crowds—are no longer enforcing mask mandates. It's frustrating to see some people still stuck in a 2020 mindset, clinging to unproven preventive measures.

I used to go here all the time i went here today and this older lady with glasses driving a white kia was so rude. she sung her door without bothering to check if a car was going through and almost hit my car luckily i had enough time to stop apparently she works there because when i went inside the store. she was just staring at me all mad from the register. she has such an attitude i didn’t even bother to tell her that she was going to hit my car. the costumer service is terrible and i will never be going there again. i don’t recommend at all. if you read the other reviews there’s people complaining about the costumer service and there seems to have been no change in the way they treat costumers.
