Sizzle Shack - Parkway-South Sacramento

This is a great place for sizzling plates. Too bad they are closing their doors on 4/10/2023. Have always had a great experience here. The staff has always been friendly and kind while the food has never disappointed. Really hope they're able to re-open later on and be as successful as they deserve to be. Thank you for feeding my wife and me!!

This restaurant has been here for years and I finally got here to try them! Cozy little restaurant with very nice attentive staff! There is a constant flow of customers coming in and there are lots of Door dash and Uber Eats orders. Entrees are super delicious! I would love to come back but just found out they will be closing April 10th. I asked why they were closing was told business was too slow. Sadly, they were not doing too well. Asked if they would open again some where else they said there were no plans. So sorry to see them go!

So bummed that this place is closing down in 4 days! I'm surprised because this is a very busy shopping center, and there is nothing else like this menu in town. It makes me feel guilty for not coming more often, but I'm glad we got to have one last meal. And I'm writing this review in hopes that others will go check it out, or return for another visit, so we can help them close with a bang. The menu is still the same as when it opened just a year and a half ago. I decided to get my usual kimchi beef with udon noodles, but this time I added cheese and it was delicious. The beef was already cooked through but at least it was still tender. I also added one of the sauces that is available on all of the tables I don't remember this orange sauce before. It's sort of a spicy aioli type sauce and it was soooo good. We ordered from delivery the last few times so I've never had this sauce! It made for a good dipping sauce for our Sizzle Fries too. Can I please buy some bottles of this sauce?! Our meal tonight was so good, better than we remembered, that we may have to try to sneak in another visit before Monday! We'll miss you Sizzle Shack!

I've been crazing the sizzling plates for so long and finally tried it out again with my friend. This was my second time here and it fulfilled my satisfactions. The waitress was really pretty and sat us down right away. She patiently waited for us to decided on our orders and the plates came out quickly. I got the Kimchi Beef plate for around $17 and it was delicious. I added a decent amount of condiments and an extra egg for around $2. The meal was fulfilling, tasty, and had a good portion. I bought leftovers home and loved my little late night snack. My friends all approved of their dishes and the total came to be around $80. I highly recommend people to try this restaurant and bring friends along!

We were in town and wanted to try Sizzle shack since there isn't really any restaurants like this in the area. We ordered a couple of different dishes. I ordered tge kimchi Bulgogi, it was good but I think it needs a little more seasoning. The chinese breakfast was tasty and so was the vietnamese breakfast. The bread was fresh and was good. We were seated and served quickly which was great! Check in with yelp and you get a free soda.
