フィードバックを提供するWe had a party of 24 for Christmas dinner. Hands down, we received the best customer service. Our food came pretty quick, drinks had just enough alcohol, friendliest staff.
The restaurant is clean, comfortable (with a unique couch-seats setup) and most everyone was pleasant. Unfortunately, that’s all the good I could say for the Brick House because the food was awful and we told the new, unmoving manager that straight up. Our onion soup tasted plain, like water down beef bouillon with some slightly cooked onions. My pulled pork grilled cheese, while tasty, was dripping in grease and I was only able to eat 1/2 (and I was starving). The calamari appetizer was also extremely greasy, enough so that manager took it back to show the kitchen, but not enough for him to do anything else about it. We also had the flatbread pizza but the dough wasn’t cooked all the way. The waiter did offer a replacement for the calamari, but really we just wanted out. To help pay we had a gift card, though it wasn’t valid (due to the original company selling the place) and the manager was nice to give a discount for our meal but he didn’t bother on why the food was so bad after telling him (again I can’t believe the manager thought our food was so bad that he took the full plate away to show the kitchen but left us just sitting in the dust). This place made me sick from all the grease, hopefully, others in our group don’t get sick from the raw pizza dough, and we only ate about 1/2 our meals (if that). Nice place but does not have it where it counts—the food and customer service. EDIT: In response to the Company's reply, they asked if we could give them another shot and I replied but was basically left on un-read (been over a week now). I've since revised my review from 2 to 1 stars. EDIT 2: Corporate followed up and we will give the Brick House another try, back up to 2 and will update again after our next visit. EDIT 3: We went back, food and service was great. It's a nice and clean restaurant, that definitely redeemed itself. From 1 to 2, and now 4 stars. Also added new food photos from our most recent trip during their brunch service.
Our waitress and bartender arrived shortly afterward, and her warm smile and attentive service made a positive difference. The cocktails we ordered were true works of art, showcasing the skill and creativity behind their unique flavors. The noise level and overall ambiance were well-balanced, creating a pleasant dining experience. Before long, our appetizer—the Ahi Tuna—arrived. It was beautifully presented, and the combination of flavors was outstanding, transporting us into a five-star experience that made us forget we were in downtown Parker. However, we did notice that our food took a while to arrive, and some guests who were seated after us received their orders first. When our main dishes arrived, we savored the different flavors. The Cuban sandwich was delightful, with crispy, perfectly toasted bread that gave way to a soft, flavorful inside, complementing the smoky, rich ingredients of the sandwich. I would highly recommend it and would definitely return just for this dish. On the other hand, the tacos were a letdown. Despite their beautiful presentation, they were bland and lacking in flavor, leaving us feeling as if we had stepped into a two-dimensional, black-and-white TV show. If only the seasoning from the Cuban sandwich's meat could have been brought into the tacos, we would have had a much different experience. Overall, I would rate this restaurant four stars. I would happily return and look forward to trying different dishes, but the tacos definitely need improvement or should be removed from the menu altogether.
We visited this restaurant after a family member's funeral, and I must say, they did an excellent job accommodating our group. We had about 20-30 people coming in and out, and the staff was very attentive to our needs.
Yikes. What happened here? I never noticed until now, but the seating area with the sofa and table is in really rough shape. The edges of the sofa are worn and torn in many spots.
