フィードバックを提供するExcellent meal in the park as usual. the porterhouse for two was exceptionally perfect in preparation, how was the otopus appetizer.
The steak was extremely chewing and we ordered it medium rare. the sides were cold and we were completely hurried. we hoped to finish our meal with a cappuccino, but after ordering it was said that the machine did not work. they are renovating and the outside looks like they are closed. the windows are clothed with wood, there are cones that they tap to get into the parking lot. a really bad experience. I never post reviews, but considering how bad everything I felt it was a must, especially the prices they pay to feed here.
I think it is fact that restaurants are severely short staffed right now but it took 90 min to get 4 steaks and fries, one baked potato and spinach! I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to a friend just for that reason. Once they hire more people or limit the number of guests, I would consider it.
You have to get fresh clams right, and they did. The Cheeky Oysters, onion rings, and creamed spinach were all excellent. The steaks were as expected. The cocktails are done well.
Such a great dinner. Our apps and dinners were amazing, cooked to perfection, great size portions. Two bottles of wine and tequila shots to start the night. Nothing was overly salty. Mashed potatoes were creamy, asparagus was crisp. Zeppoles dessert was more like donuts but hot with a slight crunch and chocolate sauce. The only thing that didn't make the cut was the special salad with champagne vinaigrette, candied walnuts of which there was only a few, and green apples. It all fell flat due to little flavor. We also wished we had a server as opposed to the downstairs bartender, nice guy but we felt rushed.
