Sala Thai - Paphos

We finally got to dine at Sala Thia last night, we celebrated our first meal out together as newly wed 's. On arrival there was a beautiful table set out with 'just married ' balloons, confetti on the table and outstanding service. It 's a lovely spot and the food is unbelievably good, they spiced to our taste too, which was even better. The food options are amazing, the portion sizes are BIG and we went all out trying as many dishes as we could. The staff were so lovely and welcoming, and the setting is wonderful too. Best Thai food better than what we find in Australia. Emilios, the owner, is the most hospitable host, warm and welcoming.

Yes, there are a few vegan options available at this restaurant, but only two dishes that feature tofu. These dishes are tofu salad with seasonal vegetables and fruit, and deep-fried tofu. I believe there could be more ways to incorporate tofu into Thai cuisine, and it's disappointing that there are no dessert options. Additionally, it is worth noting that there are two non-vegan sauces listed for the deep-fried tofu dish on the menu. However, we were able to request a vegan version and the chef kindly accommodated our request. This review was updated from a previous review on October 12, 2020.

This is the best Thai food I have ever tried. The host is welcoming and provides exceptional customer service. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

This restaurant is amazing! We absolutely loved it and will definitely be returning. It is a beautiful new sister restaurant to La Sala next door, which is already one of our favorites. Sala Thai does not disappoint and is definitely worth checking out.
