I had seen that they offered a bison burger and I hadn’t had one in years. We went during happy hour so we took advantage of the beer and snack specials. We both chose the North Coast Old Rasputin Imperial Stout (loved it! and shared the Hot Chicken Nashville Style and the Pulled Pork Quesadillas. If you like hot and spicy (and I mean really hot and spicy you will love the Hot Chicken. It was super crispy and perfectly fried, then tossed into a very hot sauce. Our awesome server, Brittany, warned us that it is really really hot and she was right. We were prepared and though it is hotter than I would normally like, it was also really good. The quesadillas were also tasty and just the right size for a happy hour snack before the main course of burgers. I was really craving the bison and that is what I ordered. It was smothered in jack cheese and fresh jalapenos and served with fresh cut fries. These fries were the perfect combination of soft and crispy and very fresh tasting. My husband had the pimento burger with huge onion rings. The 1/2 lb beef burgers are all made with local pasture fed beef. I had a bite of his and it was also delicious. When you see the menu, there may be a bit of sticker shock at the burger prices. The beef quality the availability of a good bison burger is worth it now and then (and those fries! but you can also get the burgers for half off on Mondays.
A great atmosphere restaurant and bar. A great selection of beer on tap, craft cocktails, and a menu that will make your mouth water! I love going here for a casual but clean feel where you can just hang out with friends or feel good about bringing a date. If you have never been check it out, you won't be disappointed.
The bar offers are consistently impressive, and the food is delicious. The atmosphere is positive and clean, making for a pleasant dining experience. The drinks are strong, ensuring you definitely get your money's worth.
Our server quickly arrived, and the evening began on a high note. There were five of us, and we ordered four of their signature cocktails along with an IPA to start. My Smoked Old Fashioned was delicious, complete with an elegant ice cube. My second drink, the Gin Gin Mule, was decent, but I preferred the Old Fashioned. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their selections, and we ended up trying nine different cocktails in total. The charcuterie plate, priced at $14, was decent but left us wanting more clarity from our server, who didn't specify the types of cheese or the limited amount of cured meat included, which was mainly salami. It was good, but not exceptional. There was also an oil included on the plate, but we had no idea what it was supposed to accompany or where it came from. The new salad featuring black shrimp and black-eyed peas on arugula was excellent, and the whole table fought to get a bite. The shrimp were quite spicy, which was a pleasant surprise, and the addition of grain bread crumbs was delightful. The creamy dressing also included some Andouille sausage, which added a nice touch. The Cobb salad, or Chef's salad, was equally impressive—huge, even in the smaller portion. For our mains, we had burgers and a Snapper sandwich, both served with hand-cut fries, which were all above average. We chose the Que and the Craft Burger, and they were quite tasty. With another visit or two, this rating could easily rise to a four or higher, but for now, I'll give it a solid 3.5. The service was definitely in the 4+ range. We recommend this place!
My husband and I were in search of something new and exciting, and we stumbled upon this hidden gem. The burgers are fantastic, especially since they have a half-off burger deal on Mondays! And the poutine? Absolutely to die for, topped with delicious gravy and cheese curds. We’ll definitely be coming back!
