フィードバックを提供するA concept that you would find often in metropolitan cities (4-5 shared plates for 2 people) but rare in Panama. During low season (July), we arrived at 8 on a Wednesday night and were told the wait would be 20-30 minutes but the hostess forgot to write down our names and we waited for over an hour, until we said something. You wait in a bar area that can serve you a small selection of drinks but I definitely recommend making a reservation year round. Once in, the food, cocktails and service were all great. The tuna carpaccio was delicious!! We also got the fried chicken which was good. Everything was a bit too salty for our taste but we still recommend checking this place out!
Found this place in the 50 best/Discovery and was really excited about going here. So, what can I say in the end: food taste good, yea 100%, but not exceptional, I’ve had better. And is it worth to wait 45 min to sit? To my taste, no. Overall is good, if you have no other better options. And yeah, it’s not fancy, just a small regular tasty bistro.
Best food we had in Panama! A bit pricey, but compared to other places it was totally worth it. Had the tuna carpaccio, corn tortilla and a few craft beers. All delicious!!!
Absolutely amazing restaurant. The service is phenomenal and the food is incredible. Principales: Pollo Frito 5/5 Postres: Flan 5/5 Fonda Lo Que Hay is currently the No. 57 spot on the top 100 restaurants in Latin America. It did not disappoint. The restaurant itself is super fun. Staff is amazing, super friendly and great recommendations. The food is spectacular. Easily one of my top 3 best meals in Panama City. The fried chicken is some of the best I have ever had. The flan was perfect. Not too sweet but just the right balance of delicious dessertness. I highly recommend the entire menu.
The most memorable meal we had in Panama City! Everything we ordered tasted delicious, especially the fried chicken was some of the best I’ve ever had. Will be back for sure.
