Cafetería Y Manolos - Panama

Dated, slow service and greasy eggs. This restaurant has seen better days and with the Hotel Veneto closed am sure hard times are ahead unless they do something drastic. Service was slow and at first rude. But then we had two waitresses taking care of us but the order was not placed properly or not executed properly. The eggs were oily they practically could swim to the Canal on their own. No coffee refills but that seems to be the norm in Panama. I had already walked out of this place three months ago before placing an order but decised to give it a try again. This just means not going back again unless new management changes something soon.

Menu is reasonably priced, but all items advertised are not always available. Service is somewhat slow at times. Outside patio dining is available but you will be subjected to molestation by street hustlers to the point where I had to go inside to finish eating. This is a convenient place for breakfast, better than what is offered in nearby hotels.

Nice full service restaurant and bar. I had a fried chicken dinner. 4 pieces of cut up chicken. It was all white meat, with rice and salad. Clean, friendly staff and excellent service.

I've been going there for breakfast for 20 years whenever I'm in Panama....it was excellent then and it's excellent now. large menu with lots of variety, good food, good prices, good service and good atmosphere. I hope I'll be going there for many years to come.
