The appetizer was delicious. The steaks just aren't as good as it used to be. LGs used to be a place you couldn't compete with, that's not the case anymore. My husband ordered the dry aged with truffle butter. It was a fatty cut and they put the butter on the steak cold, which made the steak cold. I ordered the filet. It didn't have a proper sear crust and was just kind of blah. You can get better cuts of steak at Flemings or Paul Martin's. The ambiance is lacking from previous years. They got rid of alot of the booths so half of the restaurant looks like overcrowded cafeteria style seating. It wasn't worth the drive for the cost or vibe.
My husband and I love a good steakhouse. We have been to several in different areas, cities and States. My husband had the prime rib and I had the filet mignon with truffle butter and jumbo shrimp. This was by far theee Best steak. It literally cut like butter and was juicy. My husband really enjoyed his as well. Every single item was D-lish! More importantly the BEST service!! Every single person was attentive and Kyle was a Doll! Wish I could have given the service 10 stars. We will absolutely be back!! This place did not disappoint.
Great experience over all and delicious food. Definitely recommend it .
We are locals and LG's is the place for steak but I have to say the Big Eye Tuna Tartar was outstanding. I will go back for sure just for that. Ribeye was great and so was the filet. Thank you so much and see you again soon...
The service was great, the food outstanding. Pricey but worth it. Filet was cooked to perfection and the jumbo shrimp scampi in a caper cream sauce was so tasty, and more than I could finish as I also had the French onion soup.
